Welcome to Pawprints on our Hearts Photography

If you’re here for a Pawprint Session, I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry your family has to go through this but I know the pain you are feeling and I'm glad you’re here.

I started this project because I recently lost the pup, Marley, that this project was started in honor of. Marley was my very best friend. He was the most cuddly, loving pup I have ever met but Marley got sick, and letting him pass the rainbow bridge was one of the hardest things I have ever done. Afterward, we put his toys away. Put his bed away. Hung up his collar. Discarded his dog food and medicine. Paid the vet bills and then we were left with nothing to hold on to. Nothing left to remind us of the joy he brought to our family and the love we shared. That’s why my heart was pulled towards this project.

The Pawprints on our Hearts sessions are special photo sessions for those families with terminally ill or elderly pets. Pawprints on our Hearts isn't about the grief or sadness you will experience. These special sessions will capture the relationship you have with your pet before they pass. They’re a celebration of the life you had with your pet and the love you shared. These photos will create tangible memories that you can cherish forever. Over time, our memories will fade. But through photographs, we can relive those moments and feelings in our heart and mind. Photographs are the gift of emotion, expression, and feeling that can transport you back to that day and time that can never be replicated exactly as it happened.

While the thought of a Pawprint Session may be emotionally difficult, I can promise you it will be worth it. When you sit down and consider the impact your pets have had on your life, the gravity of the relationship that you shared, and the immense loss you will feel when they are gone, nothing becomes more valuable than those frozen moments that you can look back on with a smile.

The Pawprint Sessions can show all the raw and true feelings you are feeling. Please don’t feel the need to put on a fake emotion. Sadness is proof that you loved so hard and joy is proof that you loved every moment you got to experience. No matter what your emotions show during your session, your photographs will show one thing. Love. You love your pet and are loved so much in return and these photographs will be the proof to enjoy and remember that love you shared for the rest of your own life.

The Pawprints on our Hearts sessions are complementary to those who need it. Sessions can include as many people and pets as you’d like. Sessions can also include any type of animal, I love all animals. Life can be unpredictable so these sessions can be booked in days notice. You will receive an online gallery full of memories for you to keep forever, free of charge.

Please contact me if you are interested in a Pawprint Session. I will work with your schedule to guarantee you get your memories preserved.
